Cristobal is Busy with Research Projects

Written by Cristobal Cisneros

Over the course of the week I have been working with collecting the soil samples in order to weigh them at their fresh weight. The fresh samples where taken on Monday and weighed. Then after 48 hours of being dried in the oven at 105 degrees Celsius the samples were weighed again to find the dry sample weight. Unfortunately due to rain  fresh samples could not be taken again that week. During the same week I helped another professor working on finishing her Alcaparra seed experiment. I helped remove the seeds from their mixtures they were submerged in and weigh them. I also saw the use of a electromagnet reader to see the amount of electromagnetic waves released as well. I also helped with the recording of the data that was collected up to that point.
