From helping farmers grow healthy crops to keeping our plants, people, and animals safe, our students make a difference in their communities.

In Demand

Graduates are well-positioned to secure meaningful work in a variety of fields, including academia, private industry or public agencies.

Entomology Minor

The undergraduate minor in entomology focuses on the management of insects and their integral role in natural and agricultural ecosystems. Students become familiar with insect diversity, their relationships with plants, humans, and animals, and various methods of pest population management. The minor requires 15 semester hours.

Our current cohort includes 81 students from 20 majors across six colleges at NC State.
