Angie Barefoot Awarded “Pride of the Wolfpack”

“These are some good students, and I do what I do for them. I work for the students.”

Department head Jeff Mullahey presented the “Pride of the Wolfpack Award” to Crop Sciences Graduate Student Coordinator Angie Barefoot this week, in recognition of and appreciation for her contributions to NC State University. Angie is a familiar, helpful presence to graduate students in our department, providing answers to everything from a quick question to resolving a complicated administrative procedure.  “I like being in Crop and Soil Sciences, and I like being in CALS,” she says. When asked about her work, Angie becomes even more enthusiastic.

“I love what I do,” she smiles. “These are some good students, and I do what I do for them. I work for the students.”  Congratulations, Angie!
