Congressman Price makes visit to Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)

Congressman David Price recently completed a site visit to see the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in action.  The program visited is conducted in partnership with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and offers participants the opportunity to practice new skills they learn through the program, learn how to utilize foods they receive in their family meals, and increase their knowledge of healthy eating and physical activity to help their families be more food secure and live healthier lives.  During the program, Congressman Price had the opportunity to hear from participants what they had learned by participating in the program and how it had changed their lives for the better.
