Teaching Opportunities in Ag Education

The following schools are seeking qualified applicants for Agricultural Education positions. If you are interested in applying for a position, please contact the school directly by calling or emailing the contact person. Most teaching jobs open from April through June. Filled positions are listed below the openings. Feel free to congratulate your new local agriculture teacher!

Contact Dr. Travis Park (tdpark@ncsu.edu) with the Agricultural and Extension Education program to update or remove a listing.

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) maintains a listing of teaching positions at (https://teachnc.schoolspring.com/). Some schools list their positions with DPI, and some do not. Monthly we check their listings and add those positions. If you are interested in teaching in a specific North Carolina county, visit that county’s school website (most counties in North Carolina have a countywide school system) to see their vacancies. They might have a vacancy and not list with us or DPI.
