Aurora Shafer
Bio
Aurora Shafer serves as a graduate assistant in the CALS Career Services office. She coaches CALS students to develop their career and professional skills and prepares them for the transition from college to career. She also co-leads the CALS Peer Career Coach program.
Shafer grew up in Orlando, Florida, and received a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship with a minor in disability studies from East Carolina University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in higher education administration at North Carolina State University.
Shafer is interested in increasing accessibility in higher education for disabled students through the implementation of universal design principles and accommodations.
