Caswell Research Station
The 1,259-acre Caswell Research Station, with its uniform, high-yielding soils, is well-suited for large-plot research on a variety of crops including hemp, soybeans and corn. In 2006, this station merged with the Lower Coastal Plain and Cunningham research stations, also located in Kinston.
With one management team and more than double the resources at their disposal, the joint Lower Coastal Plain, Cunningham, Caswell Research Station strives to lead the agricultural community in the 21st century.
