A Day In The Life: Graduate with Harrison Walker

Harrison Walker (and his buddy Nick) take you along for their graduation: the sea of red caps, the pre-ceremony dance party – and a surprise cameo from Chancellor Randy Woodson.

From a seventh-generation tobacco farming family, Walker earned his degree in agricultural business management from the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics – as well as the award for Outstanding Senior in Community Engagement.

During his CALS career, Walker served as a Warren Leadership Fellow at the North Carolina General Assembly working for House Speaker Tim Moore and Rep. William Brisson.

“I came to NC State as a freshman and didn’t know a single person here, so it was great building a network and meeting all kinds of people,” Walker said. “I always thought that I would just go back to the farm, but now maybe I’m kind of thinking about it a little differently.”

Don’t take our word for it – watch Walker’s video and see what it’s like to be one of CALS’ newest alums.
