The broad range of topics includes Integrated Pest Management, cultural practices, irrigation technologies, aquatic weed management, weed control, and more.
Food and Refreshments
Join us early for coffee and doughnuts. Then after the talks, enjoy a catered lunch complete with NC State Howling Cow ice cream! And since you’re going to get thirsty, water and soft drinks will be readily available throughout the day.
Should you come if you’re not a turf professional?
Yes! Our Field Day is designed to welcome and inform, with plenty of useful tips and tricks. You’ll have the opportunity to speak directly with the top turf scientists in the nation, as well as see, touch and feel the types of grasses most appropriate for North Carolina. Even if you don’t maintain your own lawn, you will better understand the inputs and maintenance required, which makes you an informed buyer. You will also meet the top professionals in the industry who care enough to continually improve their education so they can better serve you.
