2021 N.C. Cooperative Extension State Conference

Four people standing in a field

Extension colleagues,

After closely monitoring the situation related to COVID-19 on our respective campuses and across the state, as well as compiling employee feedback and considering all options, we have decided to conduct the 2021 N.C. Cooperative Extension State Conference as a virtual event.

While we aimed to bring everyone together in person after a difficult 18 months, we value your health and well-being above all. Given the trends and recommendations, it’s not worth the risk.

Extension State Conference will take place via virtual format October 25-27 – still hold those dates.

One positive development from the past year has been our use of new technology. We have the means to connect in meaningful ways while at a distance, and we intend to take full advantage to provide you with a robust slate of sessions and professional development opportunities.

Rest assured, many of your colleagues from our campuses and the counties are working hard to deliver an engaging, enriching and valuable program for everyone. The show will go on!

Look for more details and updates soon. Until then, stay well and continue the great work.
