The Portugal: Clinical Health Care Shadowing program will focus on providing AAMC-compliant physician shadowing in an international setting. Students will be afforded the opportunity to experience global healthcare with a group of other pre-health students, shadowing doctors in a different specialty each week. The emphasis on this program will be on becoming familiar with the Portuguese healthcare system, and shadowing in the hospital.
