Dr. Srinivasappa gave NC State a brief visit in July while in the area. During the campus visit, he was able to learn more about the Department of Horticulture and its ongoing projects while meeting with department head Wayne Buhler. He also was able to tour some of the labs and greenhouses on campus to see the various technologies in use and discuss some of the management strategies.

Another day during an off-campus visit, Dr. Srinivasappa traveled to Vick Family Farms in Wilson, N.C., to tour the packing facility with Mike Boyette.
