Bio
I am currently a master’s student in plant pathology in the NC State Extension soybean and peanut pathology program. While completing my bachelors degree, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Rachel Vann in soybean research. During my time in the soybean research program I worked alongside NCSU graduate students and assisted them with any needs that they had for their research projects. I will continue my work in soybeans, now in pathology, specifically looking closer into Cercospora sp. in North Carolina. I will be conducting fungicide efficacy and timing trials, surveying pathogen populations across the state, and monitoring peak pathogen spore count timings.
