I am a biologist, and my work focuses on molecular biology of arthropods with the aim of developing alternative methods for agronomic and/or sanitary pest control.

I have previous experience working with neuropeptides, G-protein coupled receptors and chemoreceptors.

My current goal is to use CRISPR/Cas9 tools for the functional characterization of target genes associated with fundamental fly behaviors, potentially useful for control of blowfly’ species with agronomic impact.
