Bio

I received my M.Sc. in plant pathology working with Dr. Barbara Shew and Dr. Jim Kerns in NC State’s DEPP in 2020. My research focused on the etiology of Pythium root rot of winter wheat and other winter crops. Since finishing my graduate work, I have been working as a research assistant with Inga Meadows in the vegetable and herbaceous ornamental pathology lab. We conduct research on disease management strategies for vegetable crops and herbaceous ornamentals in the southeastern US, with a focus on tomatoes and peppers. I love being a part of the NC State Extension team.
