The Department of Applied Ecology has a longstanding tradition of conducting research that addresses important ecological questions while also producing tangible results that affect environmental and human well-being. It is in our very nature to discover, share, and apply results. We practice the same methodical approach to plan the department’s future.
Our 2025 – 2030 plan outlines four goals that collectively further our mission of advancing fundamental discoveries in ecology and applying them to our greatest environmental challenges. Each has measurable targets that mark achievements towards this plan.
