Bio

Originally hailing from Pennsylvania, I moved to Mississippi to pursue a Bachelor of Science at Mississippi State University. I developed a passion for aquatic ecology and herpetology and decided to take advantage of the tremendous amount of biodiversity the southeast has to offer. My project involves assessing suitability of various habitat types for the highly endemic Oktibbeha Rivulet Crayfish (Hobbseus orconectoides) while also clarifying their range and distribution before this species’ review under the Endangered Species Act. When I am not conducting research, you can find me wading in the creek with my trusty dip-net!
