Bio

I am a MS student at NC State University in the department of Applied Ecology. My research interests are in aquatic ecology and stream restoration. My research focuses on improving stream restoration and recovery of biodiversity, specifically by adding hydrologically stable and preferred egg-laying habitat for aquatic insects. I am collaborating with the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering for hydrologic modeling. My goal is to provide informed and efficient restoration to support the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality and stream restoration practitioners.
