Student Clubs

The Animal Science Club educates the community about animal agriculture, performs services projects, and provides scholarships to club members. Club members run the milk booth and help with livestock shows at the NC State Fair, host a Club Day, and participate in Farm Animal Days and Ag Awareness Week. Follow the Animal Science Club on Instagram and Facebook.

The Collegiate Horseman’s Association is open to horse enthusiasts from any experience level or discipline. Our focus is not on competition but on education, service, and fun. We hold meetings every other Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., in Fox 304.

We welcome students from all majors who are interested in enhancing their knowledge of companion animals, spending time with people with similar interests, and celebrating the contributions made by pets to the emotional and physical well-being of their owners. Follow the Companion Animal Club on Facebook.

The Dairy Science Club provides educational activities for students interested in agriculture and promotes scholarship and leadership skills. We encourage interest in and enthusiasm for the dairy industry.

The Equestrian Club is part of NC State Club Sports. Visit the NC State Club Sports web page to view the different equestrian activities and contact information.

The team focuses on the evaluation, production, marketing and management of livestock.

The NC State Pre-Veterinary Club caters to students interested in the veterinary medicine profession. Students can attend presentations about the variety of careers in veterinary medicine, meet fellow students, participate in service projects and social events, and participate in opportunities that will help them gain experience and networking contacts.

Internships

Internships provide students with an excellent opportunity to gain work experience while earning college credit. They are resume-boosters, add value to your degree and prepare you for a career after graduation. Find the right internship for you.
