Admissions

We have separate admissions requirements for incoming freshman students and transfer students.

Incoming Freshman Students

  • Completion of the NC State University application for admission (select NC State University as your university of choice)
  • High school minimum GPA of 2.25
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One (1) letter of recommendation from a non-family member
  • ACT is recommended (SAT is not required)

A foreign language is not required.

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create a wolfPAW account. Make sure to use the same email address that you used on the NC State University application for the wolfPAW account.

Transfer Students

Financial Information

If you are interested in receiving financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA). Submit your application as soon as possible after January 1.
