Incoming Freshman Students

Complete the NC State University application for admission
High school minimum GPA of 2.25
High school diploma or GED equivalent
One (1) letter of recommendation from a non-family member
A foreign language is not required.

Transfer Students

Complete the NC State University application for admission
High school diploma or GED equivalent
One (1) letter of recommendation from a non-family member
Transcripts from high school and any other colleges attended

Deadlines

Students interested in applying to the Agricultural Institute must apply by the following deadlines:

Fall Admission-June 1st
Spring Admission-October 1st

Financial Information

If you are interested in receiving financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA). Submit your application as soon as possible after January 1.

Tuition and Fees

Agricultural Institute students pay the same tuition and fees as four-year undergraduate students at NC State University. Find current and future semester tuition and fees on the NC State Student Services Center website.

CALS Scholarships

Entering freshman and continuing students are eligible to apply for scholarships through the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. We encourage students to submit the scholarship application as soon as possible.
