The Power of FFA

Video by Chris Liotta

North Carolina FFA has a rich history of preparing future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population.

But FFA is not just about farming.

Thousands of North Carolina youth gain critical life skills — such as leadership, communication, confidence and relationship-building — through FFA. Not to mention vast opportunities to explore a broad range of career paths, from business to veterinary medicine.

Operated through the college’s Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences since 1996, North Carolina FFA has shaped the lives of young people in our state for decades.

Check out our video for a glimpse of the annual FFA Convention held this summer in Raleigh — and to hear from students about why this beloved organization means so much to them.
