Save the Date: NC State Day of Giving

The NC State Day of Giving is right around the corner, taking place on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, ncst.at/O3B150DOY1f

Save the date social posts have already been shared to the YFCS social media pages and will be shared on our AHS website as well. Just as a reminder, Dean Linton has allotted $10,000 for a departmental giving challenge so we hope that everyone can help make the DOG a big success and get involved!

2 Easy Ways to Get Involved

  • If you have a social media account, please post, tweet, retweet or share about the Day of Giving and don’t forget to use the hashtag #GivingPack please also tag the CALS account (@NCStateCALS).
  • If you have a Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram account, please consider participating in the upcoming Show us your Wolfies Day of Giving Social Media Challenge taking place all day on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. All you’d have to do is Take a photo of yourself holding up the Wolfies/Wolf Ears and help spread the word about Day of Giving. Additional details below:

Users are eligible to submit on Twitter and Instagram with #GivingPack and tagging the college, program or fund of the user’s choice. Also eligible to post to Facebook by posting the photo publicly and tagging the NC State University Facebook page, mentioning the college, program or fund of the user’s choice in the copy, or by posting the photo as a comment on the NC State University Facebook page’s post about this challenge.

Reminder for Day of Giving

On the Day of Giving, if you would like to give to a specific program, please indicate that on the form when you make your gift. If you don’t see the specific fund you wish to donate to, choose “other” to designate your gift to your area of choice. Some department specific initiatives you may consider giving to include: The Dinah E. Gore Teaching and Research Kitchens or the Oaks Scholars.
