Google AI Educator Workshops Set for Oct. 14

Faculty, instructors and research staff are invited to attend the Google AI Educator Series, hands-on workshop sessions hosted by Google product experts. There will be two sessions for each topic.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 14
Where: Talley Student Union, Mountains Ballroom (3260B)

Schedule: 

  • 10-10:45 a.m. | Teaching and Learning: Create Process-based Assessments
    In this session, Gemini will be demonstrated as a creative partner to generate frameworks and then create rubrics that can be used for evaluation.
  • 11-11:45 a.m. | Productivity and Efficiency: Write Better Grants
    This session will demonstrate Gemini Notebook as a “Grant-Alignment Engine.” Learn how to securely upload dense Requests for Proposals alongside draft abstracts to identify structural gaps and generate targeted adjustments before submission.
  • 12-12:45 p.m. | Teaching and Learning: Create Process-based Assessments
  • 1-1:45 p.m. | Productivity and Efficiency: Write Better Grants
