Know a student who is looking to get involved? CALS Ambassadors are chosen each semester to assist the college in many ways. Help us by sharing this with your students or nominate a student directly on or before November 30.
Our ambassadors provide assistance as needed with college events and presentations.
- Help recruit prospective students
- Educate current students
- Promote college and university
- Connect with alumni
CALS Ambassadors specifically help with visitation days, Spend a Day at State visitors, and high school requests.
Requirements:
- Weekly meeting for new members every Tuesday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Ambassadors must arrange classes to avoid conflicts.
- Be enrolled in a CALS major
- Be able to commit to Spring ’19
- Monthly: events/workshops/activities
Share with your students!
Students can attend an information session to learn more about the program. Current Ambassadors will lead the sessions. No RSVP is required; choose the one that works best for you.
– Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5-6pm in Talley
– Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 1:30-2:30pm in 106 Patterson
– Monday, November 26, 2018 from 7:30-8:30pm in Talley
Invited students will be able to sign up for interviews between December 3 and December 14. More details will be shared at the end of November to those selected to interview.
