North Carolina Cooperative Extension strives to uphold a fundamental philosophy of recognizing the achievements of our outstanding employees. To bring this philosophy to reality, NCCE provides awards recognizing employees for their accomplishments and service with the organization.

We invite you to acknowledge the work of your colleagues by submitting a nomination for one or more of our many awards. Through the generosity and commitment of many donors, there are several categories of awards for all of our employee groups and in all program areas by which Extension work may be distinguished as outstanding.

To find just the right category for nominating a colleague’s or team’s contributions, please review the Award Programs for Extension Employees. This website outlines the various categories and selection criteria for each award, as well as the application materials needed for each and the type of award (e.g. plaque, etc.) for each. You may also nominate yourself for any of the awards within the established criteria.

All nomination/application materials for all awards are due on August 13, 2021 in order to ensure all plaques and awards will arrive on time to be presented at the banquet.

Fill out the online registration form as well as upload your application in PDF as requested on the online registration. Award Winners will be announced at the banquet on Tuesday night of Extension Conference. If you nominate someone, please make sure they know to attend the banquet.
