CALS grant experts will offer a hybrid workshop on how to develop and submit grant proposals from 2:30-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, in 2405 Williams Hall and via Zoom. To avoid conflicts with teaching responsibilities, the workshop will be on reading day before final exams, when no classes are held.

While the workshop was designed with new faculty in mind, all faculty and staff who prepare grant proposals are welcome. Presenters Tayler Gentle, CALS preaward manager, and Christy Sandy, CALS proposal developer, will cover critical aspects of grant proposals, including:

  • CALS policies/procedures
  • Budgeting
  • Helpful resources for outstanding grant writing

The CALS Office of Human Resources is sponsoring the workshop. In-person attendance is encouraged. A Zoom link will be available for those who register, and the session will be recorded. Learn more and register.
