Kim Allen, interim associate dean and director of Academic Programs, is pleased to announce Hannah Namkung (NAM-goong) as the new administrative support specialist for the Academic Programs office. 

Namkung started on February 27, 2023, and will serve as a member of the student success team. She will also be the primary support for CALS Honors, Thomas Jefferson Scholars and other student success initiatives. She serves as the primary point of contact for students and guests visiting the Academic Programs office.

A 2014 graduate in business administration and NC State alumna, Namkung previously worked as a business analyst, project coordinator and, most recently, a K-12 teacher.

Namkung is excited to join the CALS AP team and looks forward to her transition from her K-12 career to working in higher education. 

Allen looks forward to the energy, expertise and unique approaches Namkung will bring to the role and the Academic Programs team.
