Calling CALS Researchers: Request for Statistics Projects

Skyline with the top of a tall belltower.

The Statistical Consulting Seminar (ST 841) provides statistical advice and help to NC State researchers from the planning stage, through selecting the experimental or sampling design, to running statistical analyses and interpreting statistical results. Students in the class are interested in gaining hands-on experience in statistical consulting and very eager to collaborate with NC State researchers. We are looking for research projects that challenge students and help them to gain experience with analyzing real data. If you would like to participate with your research data or statistical question, please visit this form to fill your request. We expect that each student should weekly allocate three hours to work in their project until completion. There will be periodical meetings,  and a final presentation and written report addressed to the client. Faculty from the Statistics Department will participate as team advisors.

Please forward this message to anybody who may be interested.

Thanks a lot for your attention.
