As the start of the fall semester draws near, NC State continues to prepare campus to welcome our community back home. At the same time, we are working closely with public health experts, state officials and the UNC System to help ensure we are providing a safe environment for learning, working and living.
It goes without saying that the spread of COVID-19 across our country and state remains concerning, and we are prepared to adjust our plans and procedures as needed to keep our community safe and well while providing an outstanding education for NC State students. We thank you for your ongoing patience, feedback and assistance as we move forward.
In addition to reducing the overall daily campus population through a variety of measures — including the combination of online, hybrid and in-person courses — we’re also enhancing cleaning and sanitation, and equipping campus with protective equipment and safety signage. We’ve put together a few videos to give you a glimpse into what to expect when you return:
- A look inside our classrooms.
- Cleaning and sanitation in buildings across campus.
- Transportation updates and precautions.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue to share more about what to expect on campus this fall on the Protect the Pack website. We are frequently updating the site, and we encourage you to visit it regularly for the latest information.
Please also make sure to continue carefully reviewing all communications from NC State — it’s more important than ever that we all stay informed, vigilant and committed to protecting the Pack.
