CALS Comm Workshop – Media Training
Top researchers can find it challenging to explain their work to non-scientists. But knowing how to communicate clearly can provide an advantage, whether it’s one-on-one with a potential funder or while answering questions during a media interview.

We’ll discuss ways to hone in on three key points within your research while avoiding jargon. You’ll learn how to build relationships with reporters, prepare for interviews and handle difficult questions. We will also provide best practices for Zoom interviews.
