Forests, Water and Agriculture is designed to provide students an immersive experience into Japan’s expansive agricultural sector. Through field-based work and interdisciplinary collaboration at Nagoya University, students will develop a global perspective in food security, climate adaptation and disaster risk mitigation. Students will engage in site visits to explore Japan’s rural and urban settings and how they interact both environmentally and socially. By integrating scientific knowledge with practical experience, students will enhance their ability to contribute to the resolution of global environmental and agricultural challenges
