We invite you to the inaugural Gerald H. Elkan Distinguished Lecture in Science and Society, to be held in the Hunt Library Auditorium on Tuesday, March 21 from 5:30-6:30 pm. A reception will follow in Duke Energy Hall.
Featured speaker Dr. Marc Edwards, whose talk is entitled, “Truth Seeking by the Lights of Perverted Science: Exposing the Flint Water Disaster.” A MacArthur Fellow and the Charles Lunsford Professor of Civil Engineering at Virginia Tech, Edwards’ laboratory group’s research laid the groundwork for investigative science uncovering the 2001-2004 D.C.
