Megan Halbohm is the Technology and Social Media Extension Associate for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). This program serves limited resource families and school-aged youth by providing hands-on educational sessions with the goals to improve dietary intake, nutritional practices, food resource management practices, food safety practices and to increase daily physical activity. Megan started her career with EFNEP as an Educator for both youth and adult programs. Now at the state level, she is working to develop online lessons to supplement the face-to-face lessons that are the foundation of this program. Megan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Maine and her Masters of Art in Health Education from East Carolina University.
