Bio

Jessica Williams is the graduate certificate coordinator for the Youth, Family and Community Sciences program while also serving as the public communication specialist for the Agricultural and Human Sciences Department. She is also the instructor for the AEHS 510 course. Jessica is a graduate of our Family Life and Youth Development Masters program (the inaugural class!) and has over 15 years of experience in youth, family, and community programming.  Prior to her current role, she was with Johnston County Industries, where she was most recently the program coordinator overseeing an expansive internship and workforce development program, managing grants, advising interns/clients, and partnering with local organizations to increase internship and professional development opportunities for young people. Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services from East Carolina University. She is from Pembroke, NC but currently lives in Knightdale and is a member of the Lumbee Tribe. Jessica and her husband Robbie have three boys (David, Dylan and Dakota), and she enjoys traveling, reading, going to sporting events and baking.
