Jessica Starbird

Bio

Jessica Starbird is excited to bring her experience in community outreach, program coordination, and public education to the More In My Basket team. Previously, she worked as a high school teacher in Wendell and served with the Peace Corps in Ukraine, supporting educators and community leaders through training initiatives and professional development programs. As Program Coordinator, Jessica will focus on fostering partnerships with Extension agents, coordinating food insecurity and financial literacy programming, and contributing to client support. She looks forward to furthering to the goals of MIMB and NC Extension Office in 2025 and beyond.
