Bio

Desiree works as the Student Services Specialist/Graduate Services Coordinator for the undergraduate and graduate programs within the Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences. In this role, she is a liaison between the students/department and the Graduate School/College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She helps recruit students into the programs and aides current students in navigating their undergraduate and graduate careers. She also manages applications to the Licensure in Education for Agriculture Professionals (LEAP) program as well as the NC Cooperative Extension Summer Internship program. In addition, she provides support to the faculty and staff of the department. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and moved to the Raleigh area in 2013. Desiree has built a life with her husband Adam, sons Declan and Finley, and dog Charlie.
