Bio

I am currently in phased retirement working with Career Services in CALS to locate and find industries to post jobs on epack and attend our bi annual career fairs. I was fortunate to wear many hats during by career. I also have had the privilege to be a native North Carolinian and was a co owner of a landscaping community for 20 years. I enjoy native ornamental and vegetable gardening, camping across the US and traveling internationally. I have two adult children and lots of fur babies.

Programs and Initiatives

• Developed Curriculum for 5 high school courses including Biotechnology and Ag. Research
• Created a program wide Internship program for the Ag. Institute
• Developed 3 undergraduate courses and 2 graduate courses to meet needs of the AHS Dept.
• Created a Soldiers to Ag program for CALS to recruit veterans into the field of Agriculture
• Created an internship program and a Professional Development certificate for Agricultural Institute students.
• Brought in over 1 million dollars of grant and industry funding to develop new and improved services.
