Bio

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Plant and Microbial Biology department working under the supervision of Dr. Manuel Kleiner. I am currently interested in identifying small signaling peptides generated in Lotus japonicus in response to plant-microbe interactions. I obtained my Ph.D. from National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), India in 2023  under the supervision of Dr. Ashutosh Pandey on the topic “Identification and functional characterization of genes involved in flavonoid biosynthesis pathway in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.).” I was funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) during my PhD tenure.
