Alumni Mentoring Program
The mission for the PMB Mentoring Program is to foster meaningful professional relationships between our current students and our alumni, to prepare students for their future careers and to enhance departmental engagement with alumni.
The PMB mentoring program launched as a semester long pilot program in the Spring of 2022. The now year-long program aims to provide one-on-one mentoring to our students from PMB alumni during the 2023-2024 academic year. We hope that this mentoring relationship will provide the opportunity for students to better understand a career in biosciences, prepare them to navigate the job market, and help them define and achieve their professional goals. In addition, this relationship should help students understand how they could fit into the biosciences community and transform students into responsible and engaged individuals prepared for their chosen career. This is also a wonderful opportunity for PMB alumni to become involved and give back to the NC State community.
