Alumni Mentoring Program
The mission for the PMB Mentoring Program is to foster meaningful professional relationships between our current students and our alumni, to prepare students for their future careers and to enhance departmental engagement with alumni.
The PMB mentoring program launched as a semester long pilot program in the Spring of 2022. The now year-long program aims to provide one-on-one mentoring to our students from PMB alumni during the academic year. In 2025 we are partnering with CALS Alumni for Student Success, to expand support mentors and mentees during the program.
As a mentor, you play a vital role in building meaningful professional connections, helping students prepare for their careers, and strengthening ties between alumni and the department. In addition, this relationship helps students understand how they could fit into the biosciences community and transforms students into responsible and engaged individuals prepared for their chosen career.
This is also a wonderful opportunity for PMB alumni to get involved and give back to the NC State community.
