Are you a current Alumni Mentor or Student Mentee looking for more guidance? Check out our information below.
Throughout the Alumni Mentoring Program Spring and Fall terms, we will have a total of five required check-ins via Google Forms to ensure that your experience in the program is going smoothly. These forms will be sent on a Monday and asked to be completed by Friday.

FAQs
What is the time commitment involved in being a mentor or mentee?
We require two meetings for two semesters for a total of four meetings. Mentors and mentees can meet more than this if they would like.
Who is eligible for the program?
All NC State University Department Plant and Microbial Biology students and alumni are eligible.
Can I request someone specific?
No, mentors and mentees are matched based on interest and experiences through a pairing process
I don’t live in the Raleigh/RTP area. Can I still participate?
Of course! Any alumnus from anywhere in the world is invited to participate. Mentors and mentees are given the option to meet in person or virtually.
