Rocky Mount conference, Feb. 12, focuses on growing organic market

The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA), in partnership with North Carolina State University, will host the 5th annual Organic Commodities and Livestock Conference on Feb. 12. The one-day event will take place in Rocky Mount at Nash Community College’s Brown Auditorium Business & Industry Center.

N.C. State University Turfgrass Field Day is Aug. 14

N.C. State University's Turfgrass Field Day will be held in Raleigh at the Lake Wheeler Turfgrass Research Lab, Aug. 14, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. The field day is held once a year and offers the industry and general public a chance to view the Turfgrass Program’s ongoing research trials and speak directly with N.C. Cotton Field Day is Sept. 12

N.C. State University’s Cotton Field Day will take place Sept. 12 at the Upper Coastal Plain Research Station in Rocky Mount. The bi-annual event, co-sponsored by the N.C. Cotton Producers Association, will focus on latest research into cotton tillage, variety trials, disease and insect management and rotational considerations.
