Extension, UNC-TV celebrate partnership during Festival

About 25 volunteers from North Carolina Cooperative Extension and N.C. State University celebrated a longstanding collaboration with UNC-TV during Festival, the public television station’s annual fund-raising event, on Saturday March 6.

For more than three decades, Cooperative Extension has had a unique partnership with UNC-TV to provide educational programming, said N.C. State University producer Sonya Williams Harris.

Today that partnership makes possible two popular gardening shows, “Almanac Gardener,” soon to enter its 28th season, and “In the Garden with Bryce Lane,” which recently won a regional EMMY Award.
