Almanac Gardener begins 31st season
Almanac Gardener, a weekly horticulture program of UNC-TV, began its 31st season on April 5. The weekly show features long-time host Mike Gray and N.C. Cooperative Extension horticulture agents sharing information and tips for home gardeners.
This season is the 31st for Almanac Gardener, as well as the 40th season for Gray, who started his run on UNC-TV with Backyard Gardener.
Almanac Gardener airs, Saturday at noon, with repeat shows on Sunday, 10:30 a.m. and Monday, 3:30 p.m.
Horticultural Extension agents who will appear this season area: Anne Edwards, Carteret County; Jeana Myers, Wake County; and Michelle Wallace, Durham County.
