Tisha Mentnech, Hillary Fox, Kristy Borda, and Danica Lewis and are the subject librarians for CALS. They are a part of a team that supports research and teaching for all of CALS, and they look forward to working with members of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

In planning future research projects, classes and other fall activities, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the libraries for assistance. While not an exhaustive list, some common research and teaching aspects we can help with include:

• Teaching and Research Support: We are able to provide remote synchronous and asynchronous instructional services in the fall, including recorded instructional materials to be embedded in Moodle. Our research support also continues to be available online, including our subject-specific databases.

• Consultations: Librarians are always available to meet with you or your students one-on-one. You can request an online or phone consultation on our website or contact us directly!

• DMP Support: We can provide guidance on creating and implementing data management plans through the DMP Tool and our DMP Review Service.

• The Libraries maintains over 100,00 journal subscriptions, 600 databases, 5.2 million print books, and 1.1 million eBooks.

  • You have access to our Tripsaver service, which can deliver a scanned journal article to your email inbox and mail you books if you’re located outside of Raleigh.

  • We also run a strong technology lending program and can provide trainings for new-to-you technologies
