Extension Rebranding Resources

As part of Extension’s ongoing rebrand efforts, we are excited to announce the launch of our new online marketing templates service – Brand Sprokit.

Extension employees can customize and create a variety of branded communication resources, like ads, brochures, cards, fliers, posters and more. Additionally, we’ve also released three new email templates in Constant Contact to help you facilitate on-brand digital communications that elevate your efforts and the brand. Read below to learn more, and please ask questions or share feedback once you’ve reviewed the updates using our Online Feedback Form or by contacting Justin Moore.

Getting Started with Brand Sprokit

We’re creating a shared user account for each local Extension center and campus department/program, which everyone at that location can use to login and develop materials in Brand Sprokit. Confirmation emails will be sent to those addresses as accounts are created the week of June 19. Once you receive your login info, you’re all set! Whenever possible, we will use an existing alias email for a certain group (e.g. info@name.ncsu.edu). If your department or campus-based program has not yet shared the preferred email account for your group with Justin Moore, please do so at your earliest convenience.

Regarding our local centers, the account information will be the same as for your Constant Contact account (for those that have one). For those counties that don’t have a Constant Contact account through EIT, we’ll be contacting you to identify an email for your account this week.

Constant Contact Templates for E-Newsletters, Announcements

There are three new branded email templates, representing both our campus and county partnership identities, from which to choose:

  • Event / Announcement – a clean and simple outline for promoting an event or spotlighting a major program development.
  • Newsletter – an ideal layout to highlight numerous topics with text and images that drive traffic to your website.
  • Custom / Hybrid – a combination of the previous two that allows for flexibility and customization to address a variety of communication needs.

How Do I Access the New Templates? Extension personnel and programs with a Constant Contact license from EIT already have access to these new email templates in their accounts. Once logged in, take the following steps: Click “Create” (gold box at top right) Select “Email” as your campaign type Choose “Extension Templates” (under search box) Pick the template you wish to customize If you do not have a Constant Contact license, contact the Extension Information Technology (EIT) Help Desk to request one at ces_help@ncsu.edu.
