Extension Innovation Grant
The 2023 NC State Extension Innovation Grant application window is now open. The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Agricultural Programs Foundation funds grants of up to $5,000 for new and existing initiatives proposed by agents, specialists, faculty members or teams of such personnel whose project falls within NC State Extension. Partnerships amongst Extension employees is encouraged and each application must include a completed budget.

Gold Key Award
Sigma Xi is now accepting nominations for its Gold Key Award, the highest honor bestowed by Sigma Xi on its members. Nominees are those who have made extraordinary contributions to their profession and have fostered critical innovations.
If you know of a worthy candidate, NCARS is eager to assist with the nomination package. The package includes: 1 page letter of nomination, 2 additional letters of support (also 1 page each), and the nominee’s CV.
Nominations must be submitted via email no later than Feb. 15, 2023. Learn more on the website.
