The “Building Partnerships for Health and Sustainable Agricultural Development in East Africa” symposium, the first of its kind will convene experts from Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, and Tanzania as well as experts from various fields at NC State, to forge partnerships that will foster sustainable agricultural development and improve health and wellbeing in rural East African communities.
This showcase will feature the latest research on animal health, including experts on species from aquaculture to poultry, swine, and ruminants. This event will allow participants from academia and industry to discuss partnership and philanthropic opportunities in various areas of animal health.
The N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative is hosting the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology for the release of the council’s new issue paper titled “RNA Interference in Agriculture: Methods, Applications, and Governance.”
