Join the Crop and Soil Sciences Graduate Student Association’s Pro-Caffeinate event to watch PBSNC’s “State of Change: Natural Solutions” special.

For Earth Month, PBSNC examines natural solutions to carbon removal and carbon capture to mitigate North Carolina’s evolving climate impacts. The hour-long episode explores statewide environmental concerns told by the people they affect and the researchers addressing them. Two of the eight segments (“Of Salt and Soil” and “To Till or Not to Till?”) feature soil programs from Matt Ricker and Alex Woodley’s teams in Crop and Soil Sciences.

We’ll view two segments of the special and have brief commentary by Matt Ricker and Alex Woodley.
